Asian sizing runs small: size up one or two
Chinese clothing sizes are labeled S through XXL, but an Asian L is usually closer to a US or EU M, and sometimes an S. Shipping weight: hoodies versus tees
Clothing is light compared to sneakers, which makes it a good category to consolidate. A standard tee weighs about 150 to 250 grams, a heavyweight tee up to 300 grams, and a hoodie 500 to 900 grams depending on grammage and size. How many sizes should I go up on Taobao clothing?
One size up is the default for tops and hoodies. Go up two if you like a relaxed fit, are tall, or the listing is a slim cut. Always check the chest and length measurements against a piece you already own rather than relying on the letter size alone.
Can I ask the seller for measurements that are not in the listing?
